Daughter of Miri and Israel
Left two brothers after her
Kim was born and raised in the city of Yavneh. She graduated high schoolwith honors at the Ginsburg Educational Campus in Yavneh.
Kim joined the Israel Police on March 19, 2020 and served as a fighter in the Border Patrol. During her service, she held many and varied positions: she served in the 17th Company in Hebron and the 23rd Company in Jenin, successfully completed a Border Patrol sergeants' course and a squad leaders' course. On April 10, 2022, she went to the officers' course and completed it with great success.
Upon the completion of Kim's regular service, she signed for permanent service during which she commanded many cycles of both male and female's squad leaders' courses. On July 23, 2023, Kim was transferred to the Central Border patrol region as a patrol team commander. Kim was the first Platoon commander in this position.
Kim's commanders told of her that she was an inspiration and a role model wherever she commanded and she set a personal example for her soldiers who were in the forefront of her mind. It was important to her that the soldiers under her responsibility have high morale, especially those soldiers who did not believe in themselves. She made sure to "get them back on track" and show them the way to success. Kim's relationship with her former commanding officer, the late Second Sergeant Ravit Hannah Assayag, a fallen soldier of the Iron Swords War, illustrates the aforementioned description of her commanders. Kim recognized Ravit's difficulty during the arduous training course and helped her throughout the course. She personally accompanied Ravit during the track test at the end of the course and took it together with her to show Ravit that she is capable of succeeding. Ravit's high abilities together with Kim's faith in her were an empowering and motivating force for Ravit and she completed her training process with great success and received a certificate of excellence at the end of the apprenticeship course. Kim played a big part in the success of the late Ravit.
Kim was a celebrated fighter and hero in her lifetime. The "My Yavneh" portal published on December 27, 2021 as follows: "Yavneh's pride: Kim Dukarker neutralized a terrorist and prevented terrorist attacks." The article reported on an interview that Kim gave to Channel 13 on the countermeasure activity carried out under her command after she was caught up in a terrorist incident under gunfire. The following are her words in the interview: "... suddenly I received a report about a gathering of people and very quickly a shot was heard... We acted as expected of us. This is what we were trained for from the moment we enlisted, and in those moments, you can't really tell what's going through your body... "
Kim was murdered at the Nova party in Re'im with her friend the late Raz Mizrahi.
Kim was extremely beautiful, with green eyes and noble features. She held the value of friendship in high regard, and always made sure to give a sense of security to everyone around her. She never thought of herself before taking care of others.
Kim had a cohesive worldview, and she used to instill it in her soldiers using catchy phrases she invented. Here are two of them:
"The animal in me is only sleeping, it is not dead."
"There are people who wait for the world to move, and there are those who move the world."
Since childhood, Kim has loved to eat and make "Alfajores" cookies." Kim's recipe is listed below on behalf of the "Recipe with Memory" association established by Captain (res.) Eden Kohely:
For the dough:
200 grams soft butter
100 grams powdered sugar
4 yolks L
11/3 cups cornstarch
11/3 cups white flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
For the filling:
1 cup Dulce de Leche
For the coating:
1 cup coconut flakes
Preparation:
The dough:
1. Process butter and powdered sugar in a mixer with a hook to a smooth and puffy mixture. Add egg yolks one by one and process until the mixture is uniform.
2. Sift together the rest of the ingredients, add to the mixture, process only until a uniform dough is formed and form a ball.
3. Put in the refrigerator for an hour or two to cool down for easier work with the dough.
4, Heat the oven to 160 degrees.
5. Transfer the dough to a baking parchment and roll the dough into a 1/2 cm thick sheet and cut into circles.
6. Place evenly on a tray lined with baking parchment and bake for 10 minutes, until the cookies begin to turn golden on the edges and still bright in the center. Chill completely.
7. Fill the alfajores cookies: spread a teaspoon of Dulce de Leche on half of the cookies. Attach an empty cookie to them to create an Alfajores cookie sandwich. Press the cookies a little, so that the Dulce de Leche peeks out from the edges (if you like a lot of Dulce de Leche, like Kimi would have liked, you can spread it on all the sides).
8. Roll the cookies in coconut.
Her mother Miri wrote a eulogy to her daughter Kim on the "Yizkor" memorial website: "Beautiful, I breathe you every moment of my life, you are with me in my heart, in my soul and in every part of my body. I miss you completely, I love you more than anything in the world, my firstborn, my little fairy, I miss you so much, your mommy."
Kim's partner, Lidor Oshri, a Border Patrol cadet, together with the other cadets, planned a navigation course in Kim's memory. facebook
The Israeli artist, Sahar Azuelos, recorded the song "Dancing" in memory of Kim and in memory of everyone who danced their last dance. He sang the song at a memorial service at the base where she served.
The Ginsburg Educational Kirya where Kim attended held a series of commemorative events in her memory:
On the school's website it is written:"Kim was born in 2001. She majored in tourism. Kim has always been highly motivated to serve in the Border Patrol, she completed a cadet course and an officers' course with honors, was a professional fighter and defended several terrorist attacks. Kim loved life and always made sure she is in her best appearance from the first moment. She knew she wanted to serve in the Border Patrol. As part of Kim's love for the Border Patrol, she came to the school and lectured to many students about the importance of the significant service through the Border Patrol and the IDF and was an inspiration to female fighters in our school. Kim loved life, made sure to dress impressively and fashionable and in her free time she would go to parties. On October 7 at the Nova party, the happiest place, Kim was murdered by evildoers while guarding and protecting her friends with her body."
On January 3, 2024, an education class was held at the school in memory of Kim, who was a graduate of the school's first class. The lesson was conducted by the teachers of the class, during which they talked with the students about Kim and read things written about her. Michal Ovadia, who was Kim's teacher, told memoirs about her as her student and handed out memory bracelets. The students made Alfajores balls, the food that kim loved and made herself. The event was held under the message that Kim came up with: "There are people who wait for the world to move and there are people who move the world". The event ended with the blessing "May her memory be blessed".

On March 1, 2023, a march was held on the Ashdod beach in memory of Kim and her former commanding officer Ravit Hanna Assayag, a resident of Ashdod.
